u have to look at it as a %, 4 fps over 20 is a 20% increase. thats huge for a driver.

yea but 4 FPS for a GOOD game like HL2 EP2 which runs at 150 FPS is nothing. You can say 20% in the worst running game ever I guess. Means nothing to anything else.

Doesnt look that special as everything went down in fps except Crysis. I think everyone overrates NVIDIA drivers, there are almost never any proper performance improvements, most of the time everything stays the same and it seems to fix bugs no one has.

an increase of 4 over 20 is a lot different than 4 over 150.

I could care less about Crysis.

Give me...

1. New Control Panel
2. Working Profile AA
3. Better interlaced video quality for DVDs

Not to bothered about crysis as with farcry i dont really think its worth playing on the Hardware of its gen, what i am bothered about is the problems Nv seem to have with FSX in DX10 mode

Clipping runway textures Stutters pauses & over all worse image/peformance than DX9 CTD when acessing ingame menus ect ect ect
its been like this for over 3 months now and they have'nt even noted it in the driver issues PDF the Dev team have clearly said all these are Nv driver problems and they wont be coding around them with fixes....ATI on the other hand doesnt seem to have any of the above problems

Humm maybe i should mail Nv telling them im going to write a DX10 ATI vs Nv image comparison artical for FSX im sure that that would get there asses in gear to fixing the problems One thing Nv doesnt like is bad internet PR......

yea 4 fps from 20 means a 20% boost which makes the difference between having some effects on or off

I think we'll have to wait for the 200 series driver to see a new NVIDIA Control Panel.

I'm getting sick of this slow ugly control panel. We need a new one, hopefully in 3D and lots of green color schemes.

please NO!

Why? ATi is red. Nvidia is green.

I'd like to see a Control Panel that looks similar to how their website looks.

I just want a simple control panel. I would hate for it to end up looking like their website.

It needs more interactive stuff like a 2 sec real-time game to test your settings out on and a 5 sec video to test your video settings real-time. It could also use a facelift and more responsiveness.

Also, better profile sections maybe with icons for the games or whatever, but yeah....it would make the driver package bigger, but with the way things are going and the direction that computers are headed, it won't be long.

Well, they still need to optimize the driver, cause in some game there is a bad performance, even Quake 4 doesn't run at all

But I really hope the make their CP abit like CCC

You mean like this?

I know that's not the video driver control panel, but that could be their new 'style' for coming drivers etc.
