It's obvious you don't know anything about football by that response.
You didn't read what he was trying to say. Take Payton Manning for example. Give him enough coverage/time in the pocket and he will do just as good as Brady. If you don't belive that, I'm sorry but it's obvious you don't know anything about football. It's not just one guy out there . . . ;)

Lol, one calls me a bandwagoneer and insults my home team like I care. The other comes in and tries to tell me I don't know about football.
Payton Manning and Tom Brady are two of the leagues best QBs. I have no doubt Payton can do the same thing...he did it last year. Every time you turned on the TV last season it was Payton Manning, the whole world was riding him because he had a great season. Tom Brady deserves the same respect this season for what he's accomplished.
He won those superbowls with some average receivers and now he has receivers on par with what the Colts have and it's showing.
Again, watch the game...there's more to it than just standing in the pocket. As good as the o-line played, they couldn't protect him on every play. That's where the talent of a QB comes in.

17-0?! that's nice and all, but they still have 2 games to go, congrats on another meh win over another mediocre team. if history repeats itself for the 3rd year, the next pats game will be their last. last year colt lost reg season won post season and vice versa two years ago. hopefully the pats will study a lot of tape and try to understand how teams like the eagles and ravens and even the gaints made them look like their season was pathetic. i mean their entire conference totaled all of what, 6 wins for the year? impressive indeed, to this day i still laugh was analysts compare them to much better teams of yesteryears, then i won't even comment on the prior cheating allegations, spy gate, the whole coaches headsets turning off at perfect times in foxboro, and while we're on the subject of bean town, another great role model manny ramirez made this years world series shown as the paycheck that it was for him. beantown sports may be on top, but they are so far at the bottom it's sad.
you obviously know nothing about football or any other sport. lets see.. the Patriots have won 16 games and have beaten teams like the colts, chargers, cowboys, giants, jags, and Pittsburg, all playoff teams and a defending super bowl champion. It does not matter that their division was bad, they played many good teams and beat them all. What will be your excuse when they win the Super Bowl? Correction 17 games.
Some people just love to hate winners. Cant have the best looking woman, house, car or in this case team. Hell I want my Giants in the Super Bowl but I wont take anything from the Pats if they win it all. They have been a great team in nearly every way this year. Professional on and off the field. Not many idiots on that team. Randy Moss is like a new guy and it shows team chemistry can go a long way.
Also I have to say Brady's confidence in his team on the field blows me away. The guy sometime just stands there waiting to make the perfect pass because he knows no one is getting in. Many QB's would run around like chickens. His team is a big reason why he is so good.

How is what I said not true? If you have a good O-line, a QB has all kinds of time to think clearly about throwing the ball without being rushed or pressured. That's all I said. What I hate about the Pats right now is that it's all about Tom Brady and not about anybody else on that team. Turn on any football game and I can guarantee that there will be a mention about how perfect Tom Brady is. "Such a great QB" "Such an awesome QB" "Tom Brady is the next Super Bowl champ!" Geez . . the season isn't over yet.

No. That's all you are choosing to hear. Face it, the guy is a fantastic QB backed by a fantastic team.

Do you watch ESPN, NFL Network, or any local channel sports guys? Everytime I flip through those channels, it's ALL about Tom Brady and his highlights.

I can see where you're coming from but you have to understand one thing. If you're going to play oline you just have to except that you don't get that much recognition by the media, point blank. How many people do you see walking around with jerseys of offensive linemen? You could even argue that if it wasn't for the receivers that he has, all the passes would be dropped but it's hard to make that a valid argument. Someone has to get the ball to them, someone has to run around inside/outside of the pocket, someone has to read the defense and make the decision on where the ball is going.
Did you hate Payton when he was on almost every channel and broke Dan Marino's record? It was the same situation there.

That's very true. I didn't mind Peyton and the Colts winning the SB last year since Peyton is from UT! :D However, once the SB was over, all you saw was Peyton advertising everything under the sun. THAT GOT OLD!

they have won 17... colts were missing half several key defensive players as well as harrison, then you go and list off teams that are as flakey as they come, sometimes they have great weeks and other times they play like the dolphins/jets, with the colts losing today, sd doesn't have much of a chance, except that the pats are a terrible run defensive team, but that won't be enough. also, you listed off 6 teams congrats, they had to play everyone in their conference twice, again, new orleans could have gone undefeated in conference play in that conference. there remain questionable calls in the cowboys game as well as some of the others (where anonymous coaches claim their headsets go out at the worst times in foxboro) you claim i don't know football, whatever, i'm not here to prove my knowledge. the fact is that the controversy over this year's team is almost larger than them going undefeated. but what does it matter, they have to play the chargers and then the packers, so congrats on the superbowl win and the undefeated season, i'll personally be hoping to see the asterisk next to their names in the record books.

Doesn't matter that they played in a poor division. All the teams are pro teams who are capable of winning on any given Sunday. The fact that they have not lost yet this year is quite a feat that only a close minded or media hate driven fan could deny. Do you really believe that the Patriots are the only team that does sneaky things to gain an advantage? If you do you are delusional. How bout the colts and their home field advantage which includes the refs and piped in noise. Jimmy Johnson said his teams did what the Patriots did all the time and the other teams did too. If you want to think them cheaters and frauds thats up to you. True football fans will recognize their greatness. Still 2 games to go don't want to jinx them.:)
Yeah, yeah. I swear Pats will win the Super Bowl and we will NEVER hear the end of Tom Brady praises. Argh . . .
Why do you care? Brady has done something very impressive. You need to be man enough to recognize when some one succeeds brilliantly.
There is no amount of illogical dislike you can type out that can take away from the great season the Pats have had.
No ***** you. Have been a Pariot fan since 76, Red Sox since 75, and have seen many years of bad times. Now that the shoe is on the other foot and we are better than you in every sport, you guys cry like little girls. As for the bandwagon BS, seems like I saw the same thing when your beloved Yankees when they were on top of the world so give me a break. Let the good times roll B town.(nana2)
LOL
im crying? i just said that the yankees lost legit last year, they will probably lose next year, and im still going to wear my hat and support/root for them. where was i bitching again?
then again, maybe i didnt notice it with the yankees cause everyone around where i live is a yankees fan. they probably just switched when boston won, lol. please keep in mind that i go to a school that has a large number of new englanders. so my perspective is a bit biased. one day no one wears their red sox hats, the next day, everyone and their brother is a diehard red sox fan :rofl

everyone is tryin to nibble on Brady's scrot.
im 90% sure that Brady will replace Jesus in many churches in Boston by 2010. :D

To be honest with you, I am tired of hearing about Brady too and I am a Patriot fan. The media sucks so bad now, they get hold of something and they just don't let go until you are sick and tired of hearing about it. Last year it was Peyton this , Peyton that, this year it was spygate earlier but now it is Tom Brady all day and all night.:headexplode:
As far as Brady being included in church ceremonies....after last weeks game that might not be a bad idea:D
