So whats the best to get aero withought using WindowsBlinds.

To be honest, the only thing I like about the Vista UI is the taskbar, specially the round sexy "start" button. Oh, and the search included in the start menu has provided to be quite useful.

Other than that, I have disabled most of the eyecandy. I think the windows flip thinger is utterly useless... but that's just me.

At first I liked the new UI and now I think it isn't that great. I prefer the xp look over vista and if microsoft could import all of vistas new features into xp, well dang, theres a winner.
