This thing supposedly turns the UI into Vista, it's Vista Transformation Pack 8.0.1

My question is, what kind of resources is this going to use? Will this theme slow down my pc, app or gaming-wise?

I've been running this and LOVE it. Better than VTP imo.

I never had a problem with the older versions, but I just recently tried this latest and had quite a bit of trouble with the new included themes.

Resource wise I could never tell a difference. It also uninstalled very easily leaving no permanent problems with my install.

That Inspirat conroejoe posted looks very interesting also, I haven't tried that one yet.

I prefer Vista instead of a transformation pack which can screw up ur complete system

Screw that, and all the headaches that come with it? Bleh, I'm happy with my xp sp3. Just wanted the vista interface to play with.

you cant get it... You can get the colors and the start menu but not the general feel of vista... The glass might help tho

I've been funning Vista Transformation Pack 8.0.1 for a week now. No problems. I am using the real Vista side bar and gadgets. Theres a way to make it work in XP. There Aero winflip or what ever it is works to. But don't see the need for it. The glass windows too.

Why are you people using Vista Transformation Pack 8.0.1 this piece of Junk?? it has more bugs and hacks then Vista it's self. there again it's for people on who can't buy the Real Vista.....

I always got problems with it either installing and adding bloatware, spyware, etc. crap or uninstalling it always left **** on my pc. It is just bad news.

I have 2 machines and laptop. One machine has dual boot XP/Vista 64. The other machine has XP and this Transform Pack. Right now it's been running fine no problems. And the laptop has Windows 2000 Pro. The Transform pack is fine there are some that have problems with it.

And complaining that there using it because they cannot buy Vista is crap. Some older machines cannot run Vista in first place. Look theres Stardock those people use that because they cannot afford anything. Go hide behind a Rock. Funny ha. Some just complain because they have nothing better to do.

The best part is that even though the transformation pack has more tweaks and hacks than vista itself, it still runs better.

That sidebar you have on the right/. Where did you get it? I have those widgets but in Vista itself.

I thought i saw yahoo gagets but that sidebar looks more better than yahoo.
