Welp, I might as well get it over with now. If the Chargers beat the Colts, then the Pats will most definitely beat the Chargers....and there's no one in the NFC that will beat the Pats. No one.

Congratulations on a perfect season. :(

I can't believe the Chargers offense is doing this without two of their key players! After those crap calls in the first half it's like they have it out to stick it to the refs.

Let's see how they do on this drive. If they score or at least move the ball down field, it's over the for Colts.

EDIT: Horrible call on the 3rd down by the Chargers. They should've gave Volek a chance to get the first down.

EDIT2: Ooooooooooh boy! Did you see that hit Reggie Wayne just took!? Can't run out of bounds from that one! This game is amazing!

anything can happen, that's why they actually play the game. Both the Eagles and the Giants played the pats very tough, the Packers man handled both those teams. If the super bowl does end up Packers vs Patriots I'd definitely pick the Patriots BUT I wouldn't completely count the Pack out. 2 shut down cornerbacks, 2 very good linebackers, a very good defensive line, 5 very good wide receivers, a running back that finished the 2nd half of the year 2nd to only LT, oh yeah....and that other guy Favre. Like I said, I'm picking the Patriots but I wouldn't put it past the Packers to do the Patriots what the Patriots did to the "unstoppable" Rams a few years ago.

Any team that plays the Pats will have a chip on their shoulder.

All the teams in the playoffs right now would love to be the one to hand the Pats that loss to end their season and thats enough to make those players play twice as good as they normally would be. Depending on their injuries, I wouldn't even count the Chargers out next week.

I agree with jcrox, the Packers match up really well with the Pats and if those two teams meet in the Super Bowl the Packers will be playing to beat the supposed best team in the NFL and get Farve his farewell ring....nothing like going out on top!

Kinda funny how it all works out. SD have seemed to have the Colts number for awhile now, the Colts seemed to have HAD the Pats number and the Pats have always seemed to have had the Chargers number.

Grats to the Chargers tho, they were left for dead early in the season, and going to Indy and taking it to em, minus key players, gotta hand it to em. Sadly I see them getting blown out by the Pats. Stranger things have happened tho...

GO GB!!! :D

While I do think the Pats will win it all, I still have a feeling GB could sneak-up on 'em. You never know.

Agree, the Pacs defense has been nasty lately and I'm sure they'll make Tom Brady work for another potential ring :)

I don't get why people hat the Pats. In fact I think it is stupid. The Patriots were ALWAYS a nobody team untill 2000. No one cared about them. Now that they have put together a great team people hate them.

I dislike it when people hate a team just for being on top.

I'm rooting for GB cuz they beat my Seahawks. I usually root for the team that knocks my team out. That gives some meaning to our loss because it means you loss to the best.

I am pulling for the Pats, now that the beloved Seahawks are done. GB v. NE in the Superbowl would be good.

I want GB to win because Favre had a phenomenal season....but I don't think it will happen.

You've rooted for A LOT of teams then eh? :p

I personally would like to see GB get the shot, but I just can't see anything but NE vs NY happening.

I new the Seahawks were in trouble when the snow started falling... :headexplode: despite the 14 point lead.

Something about Favre in the snow at Lambeau. :wonder:

That would imply that the Hawks have been in the play-offs a lot. LOL! We both know that isn't true.

Believe it or not I like the Hawks, no real reason, I've just always enjoyed watching them - here's hoping they have their shot one day...
