What are you guys using to OC the 5800 Ultra?
I've been out of the NV loop for 8 months.
I've got to catch up. :)
What kind of speed r u getting?
Any 550/1100's?

Depending on what PSU I'm using, the NVIDIA display control panel "auto-detect" sets my PNY GF FX 5800 Ultra NVCLK up to 545 MHz.
With 42.68, 42.86 my GF FX Ultra was reaching 1016 MHz with Auto Detect. With 43.45 driver update, the MCLK slider maxes out at 1 GHz. Yet it does seem odd that Auto Detect moves the MCLK slider up and down past the 1 GHz mark. Perhaps there's a hidden adjustment going on despite the numeric readout maxing at 1 GHz.

I have a new Antec 480 watt Trueblue.
I don't think power is a problem. :D  hehehe
Thanks for the reply.

Congrats on your new card. Like I said in the other thread, I'm interested to hear a firsthand account from a former 9700 Pro user who switched to the FX Ultra.

I look forward to letting everyone know. :)
I'm going to run benches also.
The card sure looks nice. It's the best looking card
I've had. You can tell by looking at it a lot of care was taken
in building it. It's very well made.
I'm going to put red led's in the flowfx.
It's going to look mean when I'm done with it. ;)

Be sure to post pics of your LEDs when your project is working. I bought blue LEDs for mine, with a plan of getting them to light up only when the FX Flow is going full blast.
omfg leds!!! someone post some pictures! i wanna see that badass light up:D

I must be blind. I do not see any clock speed controls anywhere.
Where r they ?
How do I know what it's running.

Did you install coolbits or RivaTuner?

Google for "coolbits". It's a file that changes the registry so that NVIDIA's Display control panel -> Advanced has a clock speed entry.
Thats what i'm using coolbits but it won't help you much at all unless you can keep your card cool, the speed throtels down when it gets to hot,so the more you overclock it the more you FPS will be lower.
