Windows XP SP3 Info

Just curious, does XP SP3 beta or whatever it is contain the dualcore fixes for AMD and cetain Intel CPU's?

We use to have to create a registry entry called throttle and set it to 1 and use a cool and quiet driver but will SP3 fix all this for those who use XP?

Did you apply the MS dualcore patch and the AMD processor update?

The wife is using MCE2005 and an AMD x2 so to avoid registry tweaking SP3 should have those fixes?

Well I'm using Intel and I had Home Xp, which already was fine with the dual-core's (?) sp3 has been installed, all has stayed well.
