I'm disappointed. I didn't struggle to get through the game. I didn't sweat. Heck, I didn't even die that much. I was hoping that I would get so frustrated that I would quit 1/2 way through the game because it was so damn difficult, but it just didn't happen...
Has anyone completed the game on its hardest setting? what are your impressions? Is it worth it to play through the game one more time so I can really be put to the test?

I would play on Delta but there is no crosshair... screw that.
Unless there is a way around this?

Yes. Play through again with the Natural mod. It makes it a whole new game. No I'm serious. Don't listen to m3dude. It's a new game. Just don't invalidated you opinion without clarification or we will examine you parenting skills with a mock marriage to Michael Flatley.

Menus are for console babies! PC gamers do it all through cfgs!

The cross hair is gone so you use the iron sights. The iron sights ARE the cross hair.
Who shoots from the hip in this game anyway? You would miss everything at anything beyond close - medium range.

Also I found Delta difficulty ridiculously easy.
If you behave like you dont want to get hit by any bullets, use single shot on most assualt rifles it is crazy easy.
I would hope there was another settings in difficulty that enabled you to remove the suit functions or something.
On my second play through on Delta I challenged myself by not using any suit powers (cept strength to get to area's you need to go). And sometimes by trying to complete a whole level with just the pistol say.
Another great challenge is completing a whole level without firing a shot and no suit powers. All hand to hand and throwing items or stealth.

I also finished the game on Sunday afternoon and it was a good game imo its good untill the later alien levels the first lvls are the best. I am looking forward to the next game and will now try the play on delta.
I've been playing it through again on Delta and I'd say it's not too hard if you don't run around like an idiot. If you find good cover and use cloak you can easily take out entire villages of baddies without even being hit.

Cloak = cheating... ;)

Play without using any of the suit's powers. Except parts which requires you to use strength/speed to get past certian areas in order to progress.

Yup, delta is easy as heck. They sure don't make the games like they use to.
Or we have just been playing games too long to be challenged :)
I do remember a time when Duke Nukem 3d was hard.
I've found that the more you play the campaign, the funner it becomes, because once you've beat it already you can just screw around like the people above have said.
My favorite thing to do is use no guns.

If delta is too easy for you, try delta with a disabled HUD (cl_hud 0). It is harder because you don't know where the AI is, in which direction it is looking at, how many bullet you have etc. I replayed the game without the HUD and it is a lot more challenging.

Sounds interesting. Mind telling me how to get the HUD back when done playing? I'm a newb sorry.

finished the game on delta and it was pretty easy. Maybe I'll try delta without the HUD even though I never really used the map.

cl_hud 1 would be the obvious guess.

Yes thats it, and to get it migh actually have to disable the restricted console mode before with "con_restricted 0". :) I forgot to mention that because thats a line that I included in my system.cfg
I almost quit on the last level because I kept falling through the ship
But I stuck it out and found a route to take that wasn't quick sand

That's odd. I ran all over the that ship and didn't have any problems. Maybe that's what DX10 is for, r_solidshipdeckeffect 1.

Lol the only glitch I found was that the TAC launcher didn't lock onto the Hunter, just the big fat alien ship thingy. Although that was easy to get by...I mean Hunters are super weak...I just spammed his face full of gauss and rockets. :p

I don't think you can use the TAC on the Hunter... I couldn't either. ::(:
