Very surprising to see it beat its rival 3850 quite convincingly in Call of juarez since ATI have dominated in benches of that game before. The card seems to be very competetive, nvidia applies even more pressure to ATI and dominates this pricerange aswell. It even beats it in 3Dmark06,very nice indeed. At 169$ it looks like a great deal :)

The choice by NVidia to give a larger number to a lower specification card will pay dividends no doubt.
Impressive #s for only 64 SPs

That is nice. I wonder how two in SLI compare to some of the higher end cards.

Well... makes you wonder how ATi will counter. I honestly doubt any of their next line-up is available yet. I'm wandering if they'll price the 3870x2 ultra-aggressively. Also, I'm wondering if we'll see some variants of the 3870 released with a super-cheap price tag to compete.
This is definitely interesting, no doubt. Two of these in SLi would be a killer performing system for the price, undoubtedly.
I'm actually quite interested to see how this card compares to the 3870, and how two of these in SLi will compare to two 3850s and 3870s in CrossFire.
Any idea on the price of this card?

During a sneakpeak from ces a ATI spokesperson said 4-450 $ for the 3870x2.It was running cod 4 at 2560x1600 supposedly maxed out and it looked fairly smooth anyway, hard to tell since the video was kinda ****ty.

Seems awful cheap, but if that's the case, I'll grab two!

Damn.
That's a hell of a price for that kind of performance. This is an awesome mid range card.
Well done nvidia.
But this is really going to hurt ATI. The 3850 totally owned the sub $200 range before, now it has very steep competition.
This is merely the low end part, hopefully the high end part will be the same as the 8800gtx was to 8600gt..
But this is ment to only compete with/destroy the 3850, it looks like it will.
