Very hard to find their products, especially the 8800gt. Are they going out of business? rumors accepted!!!

I haven't seen any shortage of their motherboards.

As for the 8800GT, I think they are generally hard to get a hold of, regardless of the brand.

yes, they are going out of business... your best bet is ebay.. before all of their products become collector's items and you have to hire a witcher to find them for you :headexplode:

They have 4 Gigabyte 8800GT's left at the moment at ncixus.com

And no they are not going out of business. As CaptnKill said, they're are in short supply as most GT's.

I'll recieve a gigabyte 8800 GTS 512mb today. Would be strange to make the latest cards nvidia has to offer when you go out of business. ;)

8800 GT hard to find? There're plenty of them on newegg and frys.

Just looked and found one 256MB at NewEgg which is out of stock and none at Fry's? He's looking for a Gigabyte specifically.....

I know, but I was replying to the second post. Anyways, 256MB is hard to find then. The 512MB's are aplenty.

EDIT
There's a 256MB in stock at frys but it's a XFX.

That's just what everyone else is saying.

I haven't really looked myself. If the 8800GT is easy to find then everyone else is full of crap. :p

from my limited experience gigabyte P35 motherboards are hugely popular.

Can't say i've seen any gigabyte 8800GT's for sale, not that i'd buy one, gigabyte are one of my lowest ranked brands which i'd only consider as a last resort or if there very cheap.

Just purchased a BFG 8800GT 512. They have a lifetime warranty and seem to know what they are doing. Evga is also good, but I got through to BFG tech support quickly. They are 24/7. I was looking for a GTS but cannot fit it into my computer case.
