Oh man, I STILL haven't ever loaded up Thief2...and I got a retail copy with me soundblaster.

Is it worth playing considering it's age and such?

If you can look past the somewhat blocky graphics it's just as an engaging game as the first. I liked it.:D

Meh... I had trouble liking Thief 2. Too much of the wander aimlessly bit... and speaking of wandering aimlessly, I feel like reinstalling Half Life. But my friend is returning Dungeon Siege tonight... WHEEEEEEEEEE!

how did Thief2 compare with Thief1?

Thief1 was pretty interesting in that it was a new concept, although certain parts of it felt very long and drawn out(moreso than they needed to be). In the end I foudn myself just running through the game basically, finishing the objectives and not exploring the whole level.

Dungeon Siege is one of the very few games that I ever finished. I think it is a very good game (albeit with some faults).

DS is good plain fun--it's not an RPG by any stretch of the imagination. :p

It's totally worth it dude. I can't wait for Thief3. Two is alot of fun and you have to have patience and use your head. It's awesome to play in the dark with the sound just right. You really can get into it. I never played one but have seen it.

:)
