I've reset the router 3 times now. I've rebuilt the wireless router and security settings from the ground (including administrative password and wireless access) and every single time it does great... until I try to connect to the thing wirelessly... then the router goes bananas!!! I can't get a connection on it wirelessly. I have no clue what to do...
The router is a Linksys WRT54G ver. 6. Does anyone have any suggestions at all? I'm about to run over this thing with my car. :headexplode:
I'm using DD-WRT on my Buffalo. It's transformed it into a whole new router.
I highly recommend it. It was made to work on Linksys originally too.

Here's a page specific to your router (I highly recommend this page if you consider DD-WRT):

Nothing worked... I just gave up. I've got a new router hooked up, and no problems... so far. We'll see what happens.:(

By what you say , i think maybe it has died , as i had 2 of these inthe past and both died a wireless death.
Moved to draytek 2800 gi , fantastic routers , but unsure if available in the us . here the are about £150
Your router may not be dead though , have you tried connecting to unsecured, just a thought thus proving it at least works. and what about your wireless card on your machine, is it ok. post back
EDIT : Sorry , didn't read the whole thread . I see you have bought new router.

My first DGL-4300 always lost connection with my pc and I couldn't reconnect until I did reset it, it happened every hour 5 times, so I returned it and got a new one, no problems since
Just when there was an electricity failure, I still need to reset the old one, cause for some reason it's no longer able to make a new connection or restore the old connection between the pc and the router
