Latest Splinter Cell patch - dang-it!

Yo,

First, I want to say this - I OWN THE RETAIL GAME.

That said, I use a virtual drive for my games so that I don't have to dig out the original disk to play. I do this for both convenience and for protection of my investment.

The latest patch has caused a problem with this. The game no longer recognizes my virtual disk to be the original, and I have to dig out the real disk.

This is bad, bad, bad!!!

Just a gripe.

you need a no-cd thingy

the 1.2b patch only updates the benchmarking tool from the previous 1.2. so if you dont use the tool, you can stick with the 1.2 . ..

Yeah, and if they ain't got it they have links to the other sites that do....a HIGHLY recomended site and I suggest you check out their forums if'n you're the impatient type as most cracks show up there a couple of days before they make it on to the main site. ;)

COOL lighting in the game! But it's a bit too thinky for me....I'm enjoying it non-the-less so I'll give it another opinion after playing a bit more. ;)

I'm getting low-dips of 29FPS on Bubbles, which is just peachy by me...it runs well. :)
