169.09 works well, is an update needed? Is right to install always latest driver?

I have a GeForce 8600M GT 256Mb with 169.09 drivers.

This drivers on my system are really stable and I have great performance.
Is right to install always the latest driver?

Often times it is OK to install the latest drivers, but not always. For example, in versions 169.21 through .28 (including 169.25 WHQL), the game profile settings for anti-aliasing are broken.

Yes, but if you have problems and want better performance updating drivers is always a good way to try to get it.

me too im also with 169.09... im waiting for the next officials/beta that actually improve something
