Check it out here (http://www.bit-tech.net/news/2008/01/17/crytek_specs_a_budget_machine_for_crysis/1)
Crysis is a demanding game, that much even my Grandma knows - and she hasn't been keeping up on the gaming front either these last few years because of her arthritis.
One of the main problems which seems to have been plaguing the game lately has been the high level hardware required to run the game on high settings. Most gamers don't want to run it at any less than high, but can't run it at anything close to that level.
Never fear though, Crytek has come to the rescue and put together a basic hardware specification which the team claims will run the game on High settings without breaking the bank (albeit at 1280x720 - Ed.). Check out the machine specs below.
CPU - Intel Core2Duo E6750
GPU - GeForce 8800 GT 512MB
Motherboard - Nvidia nForce 650i Socket 775
PSU - 600W ATX12V
RAM - 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit
HDD - SATA 250GB 7200RPM
DVD - 20x DVD±R Burner
Case - ATX Midi Tower Computer Case
OS - Microsoft Windows XP Home with SP2
1280x720, lol.
