ATI Radeon 9500pro question

Im planning on getting this card but i saw it says agp 3.0 on the card. Does that mean it will only run on agp 3.0 motherboards? Will it run on agp 2.0 motherboards? :(

I dunno, but I can tell you it ran fine on my TUSL2-C if that helps any. :)

I forget what the 3.0 and 2.0 represents but!!!!!!!!!

My Radeon9800Pro (most likely same compatability as the 9500pro) is running on my 4X AGP intel board 845PE

so if 4X is agp2.0 then your good to go.

yes, AGP8x cards are backwards compatible with AGP4x slots.

AGP 3.0 -----------> AGP2X, AGP4X, and AGP8X

AGP 2.0 -----------> AGP1X, AGP2X, and AGP4X

it will work in all 4x boards but it will not work in any 2x or 1x boards due to the singnalling voltage used

Yeap works with AGP 8x & 4x and some 2x, however some 2x and all 1x times boards won't work as it will fry the card.
