Does it happen with ANY other games or just SC? (And UT2k3 or U2... ;) )

Do you have something openGLy to try?

I have nearly the same problem with this card!
When running any game or benchmark, after two-three minutes it hangs, after which Windows tells me that either a device failure has occurred, or that nv4_disp got stuck in an infinite loop.
On another computer it's even worse. It crashes even when nothing's running!

The infinite loop thing traditionally has been a driver problem. And it's not an issue I've seen come up on these forums in months. I assume you've tried multiple driver sets already.

How is the cooling in your respective systems? How many case fans? What are your power supplies (ratings, etc)?

For some of the issues, like the distorted display, could be the result of heat. Try running your machine with the side cover off and a desk fan blowing across the motherboard and see if that doesn't help.

try to turn the AGP to x1, no fastwrites, no sideband addressing, lowest ram timings.
that how it went for me, and I partially solved it by raising the voltage.

just one of many possibilities

infinite loop SUCK!!
