I'm going back to school, so I figured I should get a new computer. My current computer is 4 years old, so hopefully the upgrade will be noticable :D

Case: Silverstone TJ07
Power Supply: Seasonic S12 SS650HT
Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-X38-DS4
CPU: Q6600
Heatsink/Fan: Scythe SCINF-1000
RAM: 2 x TWIN2X4096-6400C5 (8GB total)
Video Card: BFG 8800GTS-512MB
Hard drive: Raptor 150GB

No new monitor, I have a Dell 2405 and I can't imagine needing more than that for the moment.

make it 4 gb of ram instead and upgrade something else maybe? Congrats on the build!

Your new rig should serve you well for years. :)

for me i have a new zalman VF1000 :)

...load temps on crysis = 51-55c :D
I wanted to get the TRUE but newegg didn't have it and I couldn't find anyone on pricegrabber that carried it. If I'm not 100% satisfied with the Infinity I will either look for a place that carries the TRUE or maybe go with the new Scythe Zipang 140mm monster. Someone posted some pretty impressive results at xtremesystems.

I thought about it and decided RAM is so cheap right now I might as well fill my mobo up. It will probably be another 3-4 years before I upgrade again and I'm guessing 8GB will be standard within that timeframe.

And thanks :D

Just got the TJ07 today. The rest of the stuff got sent to the wrong city so err maybe tomorrow...

In the mean time, a little compare and contrast with my old Antec Sonata case.
