It's not that they are unreliable, but it's just if Nvidia didn't release the driver yet, then they are beta beta, or just meant for a special product

I downloaded from evga, everthing went smothly, no warning, It seems to have fixed the crash issue that I had with cod4, so I am keeping them

OK, weird the driver is WHQL for ur 8800GTS, cause they are normally only WHQL for the GS

Installed these today and have had no probs whatever..
seem more stable than the 169.28 betas..

OS...Vista 64 Ultimate.

Vsync broken in FSX Dx9 and DX10. Can't force it on through profile or global.

Dx10 flashing taxiway textures still present.

I installed them on Vista 64 bit and can't get the Control Panel. Anyone have any sugestions?

I had to manually update to these drivers. Definitely getting lower FPS in Crysis, as well as some strange anomalies on how it's rendering water, and some shadows.

Thanks for the heads up on the continuing FSX problems Lith1um...

This and other problems with FSX have been on going for about 4months now(since the FSX expansion pack & DX10 support) and its not an app problem as ATI doesnt suffer any of the same problems

Its really pretty slack that Nv havent gotten around to fixing these problem with FSX yet,How come UT3 (a crappy seller)got hotfix drivers within 2 weeks but 1000's of sim'ers have to wait months for a fix? (if they get one at all.....)

Nv's driver team need to step up to the plate and bring there software(drivers & control pannel) upto the standard of ATI's with solid monthly release's that really fix bugs & not waste time trying to give us 0.5fps extra in crysis....

If I go to system information in the nvidia control panel it displays an error then crashes. I've tried installing twice now, and using driver sweeper.

This is on my work pc, which has a 8400 GS.

Anyone else get this too?

I can't get DV to stick with these under Vista x64. When I hit apply it resets.

Games work just fine though.

i tried it out, get graphical errors in crysis - specifically, no particles or smoke on flares.
