nice improvement over 1.1 and 1.2, i still prefer original crysis overall

i just installed this and did some testing.

I deinstalled it.....with the result that all my savegames were hosed and unusable after i deinstalled this mod.
Then i installed it again in the hope that i could resuse my saves....but then crysis crashed.

I am reinstalling crysis from scratch now.

The sunrise looks better but I dont like how the daytime has a thicker closer fog. Also it turned many scenes which looked a little realistic in the gritty sort of way to turn into an average picture with overkill on the blue hues.

1.2 did this to mine also. I've made my own tweaks that produce superior results compared to NM.

nekro, MOST places see fog eventually, but tropicle islands the size of crysis would not have much fog because it is so close to sea level

Just for fun, I decided to try NM 2.0 and as I suspected, I still don't think it's up to par with my own config settings and as I also suspected, it also cripples the cyrsis files so that the game is no longer playable after the uninstall.

The guy that's done the NM 2.0 mod is still totally clueless. He's so far out of touch with reality and what real shadows and lights are supposed to look like it's funny. The beams of light and HDR and shadows are all still grossly out of hand.
