Did anyone know this (http://home.novint.com/products/novint_falcon.php)?. A control device with a very advanced force feedback system that allows you to feel the 3D objets in games. Compatible now with Penumbra, Half Life 2 (and Ep1) and Quake 4, available this month for about $239.

Quake 4 (http://www.gametrailers.com/player/30120.html) video.

HaptX enables gamers to feel the details of the 3D objects’ actual attributes such as surface textures, material characteristics and weight in an unprecedented realistic way. It also allows the user to physically experience any game in genuine 3D since all objects can be touched and sensed freely in all three dimensions including the ability to touch and feel the top, bottom or the back side of any object

Haptics-Life 2 is our mod (modification) of Half-Life 2, one of the best-selling and best-reviewed games of all time. Half-Life 2 is a masterpiece on its own, but load up our mod and you have gaming perfection. Take this classic title to the next level by adding realistic touch to weapons, vehicles, and objects in the environment. You’ll actually be able to tell the difference between weapons just by feeling their weight and recoil: the shotgun feels heavy with a hard kickback, while the automatic rifle feels lighter with shorter bursts of fire. And that’s just the beginning. Use your sense of touch to wreak havoc behind the wheel of a jeep, toss around barrels and boxes with your hands or with the gravity gun, and smash down barricades (or your enemies) with the mighty crowbar. Not only that, you’ll be able to actually feel the direction of enemy gunfire when you’re struck, helping you locate foes immediately during a firefight from any direction (even if your eyes were closed!) Immerse yourself in the world of HL2 with the Haptics-Life 2 mod. (Mod requires ownership or purchase of full version of Half-Life 2. Half-Life 2 is a registered trademark of Valve Software)

I just saw this on X-play. They have a gun attachment for it now. Does anyone own this?

Jakup, can you buy this and let us know if it's any good? :D

I think someone posted about this a few weeks ago. Very cool stuff.

I'd love to try one, but for that price? No way.

Also, I can't imagine putting in a 6 hour gaming session with my arm lifted up off the desk the entire time.
