I could get the fans speeds to stick after a warm reboot, but they would default to 100% on a cold boot. I went back to the .32's for now. I did like the driver, though, when I had it installed.
DX10 for FSX is not finalized so it's not Nvidia's fault and you should be aware that DX10 is a "preview" so basically it's a beta at this point. Wait until SP3 is released for more stable DX10 feature for FSX.
Funny then how ATI's drivers under DX10 dont suffer the same bugs even if it is just a preview....& Aces have said there will be nomore patches/SP's for FSX and that the problems are driver releated they passed this on Nv months ago and there the ones who need to fix there problems.....Time to write a up "DX10 preview" FSX "Nv vs ATI" image qulity article i think, maybe some bad press will get there asses into gear
Having some strange lockups since installing this, screen just goes black and nothing responds, not sure if it's related or not.

I have the same strange lockups in Stalker 1.5 -- screen just goes black. I can hear that audio is still working properlu, but video just goes black. Not for me.

Surprising not a whole lot of input regarding these but I got huge FPS increases in several games with these.

Like?
I'm running them too in XP and Vista, they are smooth.

IL2-FB went up about 10fps. DoomIII timedemo went from 170fps to over 200fps. LockOn is up a few fps. All games seem smoother. GPU temps are closer too which would seem to indicate some Sli optimizations.

These are good drivers, at least for ET:QW and Crysis. Nice little performance bump.
There is a new option in the CP... maximum pre-rendered frames. Anyone know what this does? The default is 3. I'm guessing you need more vram for more frames?

That is an oldie! Set it higher, and you get higher fps sometimes, but get mouse lag! If you have any mose lag, just set it lower than 3.
It's very nice that they've added it back though. I have no mouse-lag concerns when playing flight sims, BUT, this setting still affects them.
One less reason to use Rivatuner.
Awesome!

Google ntune 6 beta. It allows you to set fan speed.

Did FPS maybe improve in WoW with those?
