According to the recent Anandtech review below, it's one of the bestair coolers at stock CPU clocks, and one of the quietest as well. In overclocking it loses out to the top air coolers like the Thermalright 120, Tuniq Tower, etc, but still performs better than a lot of the more expensive coolers out there.

yes it is very good. I only paid about $13 for mine to, part of a combo deal with the e6750.

Yeah but I don't like the pin mounting method.
Then you may like the Freezer Xtreme:

Wow 2 links broken. :(

I look forward to read Freezer Xtreme review soon, look like it has more fins and the performance will beat Thermalright Ultra 120 eXtreme.

Whoever will win then I will pick it and adding the world most advanced powerful and quietest CPU fan, Noctua 120MM fan with 1200RPM capable to pumping 81CFM air at 17dB or maybe the slower one with 800RPM capable to pumping 59CFM air at 8dB for Q9450. (nana2)

The Freezer Xtreme has a fan in the middle of its 2 fin towers, Something I wanted to do with my Thermaltake Sonic Tower ,but they dont make 120mm x 20mm fans.

its true :D

mmm how is possible that the RPM showed in the picture is more faster than Max RPM allowed by the CPU FAN: (official Specs)

--> 300-2500 rpm (controlled by pwm signal)

I had this cooler and in the summer is very, very bad, from 33 deg. (winter) to 46 deg. (summer), my 8800gts was from 35-45-35 deg. (W) to 40-50-40, the case ambient temp was from 33 (idle) to 38 (idle).

I changed to Zerotherm Nirvana, the temp down from 46 to 40, my gts dropped to 38-48-38 and the case ambient temp to 35. :captnkill:

I used to own one when i had my AMD X2 4200+ ... pretty good coolers.

The Freezer Extreme looks neat although i still think my Ultra-120 eXtreme looks better. :)
