So now, not only did the Patriots lose the Super Bowl, there apparently could be Senate hearings to continue investigation into the whole spygate thing. The comment by the former video assistant is very interesting.

Why is the senate getting involved in this? This is sad. They can't drill for oil on US soil but they can investigate home-made videos by some football team. What a joke. I hope every senator that is involved in this loses in their next election.

I guess it's actually congress? It's because of the NFL's antitrust exemption.

Oh great so they will point a "blue ribbon: panel of ex senators and representatives so sitting legislators are on looked at for wasting time.

Either way it is dumb.

I agree 100%. Our congressmen and senators should be concentrating on much more important things than a game.

I guess the fact that tax-payer money is tied up in the professional teams in their city kind of allows for things like this to happen :)
