Just wondering, I was going to pickup some of the new 2gb Viper sticks and was wondering how there ram is in general. Could only find one review on them, this is the ram in question (http://www.patriotmem.com/products/detailp.jsp?prodline=5&catid=17&prodgroupid=38&id=680&type=1).

I can't speak for the ddr2 versions but I am really pleased with my ddr3.

I was wondering the same thing in this thread:

I have 1gb x 2 in a low latency DDR400 set that have been great. Just as good or better than Corsair.

I have 2 sets of DDR400 on my old rig. Very good stuff. Never had a hiccup with it.

I've never tried their DDR2 or 3 chips though.

brand doesn't matter, all it matters is what chips it has ;)

I just ordered these from Newegg... the exact same ones. I was having major issues with the G.Skill, so I RMA'd them and got these instead. They will arrive today (probably this afternoon). I'll let you know what I think of them.

I had borrowed a friends 2GB set (2x 1GB), with the exact same timings (I think they are the same chips) and they worked perfectly. That's how I figured out that the G.Skill were bad. But I was sure happy with my friends, that's why I ordered the 4GB set.

I use to buy only Patriot... but I'm kinda' hooked on G.Skill now. :o

Patriot is a great brand. I'd not hesitate to buy thier RAM if the price was right. ;)
