3dmark06 error

getting this message when i double click mark06

this application has failed to start because OpenAL32.dll was not found.

On another forum, someone said you need to download the december redist package for it to work. ANy truth in this? Do I need to delete anything if i plan to download said package. Any links to it?

dont worry guys, the december redist package doesnt want to load either for some f*ed up reason. I will try all my games, if they work, then fine.
