Heh heh! I played it for about 2 weeks and found it unbearable to be honest. Went back to WoW afterwards.

i play it. Gave up wow for it. and not regreting it one bit. wow stole my life. lotro i can actually have some semblance of fun with, and not seem like i work one job during the day and one during the night.

I switched back to 9 for stability reasons. I haven't tried it yet with the newest content update. As far as performance is concern dx10 is the same as dx9 in LOTRO except for some stability issues I had (crashes from swift traveling around).

I'm going to try the 169.38 drivers tonight and see what happens.

Well I'm using 169.38 with Vista Ultimate. There isn't much difference as far as general gameplay performance between dx9 and dx10. The first 2 screenshots are in Bree. Loading all the players and npc's in will drop fps to high teens. General grinding and running around 50 fps. No crashes so far with about 2 hrs of playtime last night.

Aye, still playing on Elendilmir. Never hit the moors though. Weekly Rift run and general kin mayhem keeps me entertained.

Regarding LotRO, does anyone have problems taskswitching back to desktop when using DirectX10 mode and 171/172/174 Forcewares? I'm getting a black screen of death when I taskswitch.

If someone of you is having same sort of problems and has figured out a fix, which does not involve changing the drivers, then I'm all ears. :)
