Which would pretty much confirm it's a MAXX of either the 9700 or 9800 chip.

I just hope they got it RIGHT this time, with Orton at the helm I'd almost be willing to give them the benefit of the doubt....

Can you imagine what this will do for their already killer AA & AF?!?! :eek2:

As long as with the 3DFX engineers, NVIDIA don't decide to bring out a multi-chip card ;)
And back to reality, I also think it's probably ATI

Well, that would bring the price up to around the $700 mark, wouldn't it?

Are you the one running the tests on the card? Do you take requests? :D ;)

Zardon over at DH did a really nice photoshop analysis of the early screenshot (http://www.driverheaven.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=14605), (members only, free registration required), that concludes that he thinks the screenshot was NOT photoshopped. (And he does this for a living, I should have asked him to check it out first. Sorry Z, my bad! ;) )

Just some more fuel for the pudding.... (Ok, so the pudding is gonna taste funny tonight... ;) )

Since I must of missed it all. I'm not going to bother to register just to view info at DH. I believe this is just hype. No card, I repeat no card is capable of doing 1024x768x32bit and nail 10k in 3DMark03.

This seems way to fishy to me. I bet it's with some OC 4GHz running at 640x480 with an overclocked to hell Radeon 9800 with voltage mod or some ****. Considering you can totally lie in 3DMark03 and they never fixed that flaw. I wouldn't take this worth of anything. Just my two cents...

Even if someone snapped shot the resolution. You can't believe it because of the flaw. Sorry folks, the flaw makes this hard to even believe.

Damn it, NO! Don't spoil me fun so soon with all this dreary "reality" talk, tell me there's a secret whiz-bang card that is gonna change the gaming landscape coming out soon and we've seen a hidden glimpse of it!!!

Please, someone?

This is likely for real - although I retrieve my "does it begin by F" thing from before, because I just realized it would make no sense.

Too bad for the company who's doing this that nVidia already took the "Are You Ready?" thingy :)

If it was real i dont see why all the shots would be just 'teaser' shots.

then again it could be one really big secret.

You people do realize how to exploit the flaw don't ya? It's quite simple really. I'm not saying it's not-authentic, I'm saying you can't just believe a screen shot, because you can totally lie in the screenshot and still be real.

I think someone is just bored... This, "The people would kill me type of thing" is just plain dumb.

For hypothetical purposes. I wish it was Matrox, because I'm on a dual LCD and Matrox seems to be the only one releasing cards with Dual digital connections. Meaning that it's true dual DVI's and not just one converting to analog like most of the consumer (not workstation of course. Those are fricken expensive) boards.

Perhaps the most important thing to remember is this - Just because, coupled with a *very* fast CPU, you can get a 3dMark score twice as high as anything else, that needn't translate to twice as fast in everything. The 3D Landscape isn't about to be revolutionised, so digitalwanderer can stop getting his knickers in a twist :)

I believe this card is the next Kryo.

I believe you should think so too.

MuFu

I don't think it was run on a particularly fast CPU judging by those benchmarks.

The Dig will stop twisting his knickers only when he is good and ready to stop twisting his knickers, thank you very much! :p

Sue me. It's a loooong, stressful, boring Friday at home with my daughter after a looooong, stressful, boring week after a looooong, stressful, and not-at-all boring vacation at DisneyLand with my two kids for 5 days...

....this is like AIR to me boy, like air and sunshine! :D

Lemme have my fun. I'll tell no lies at least, on that you'll have my word; but speculation is fun just for it's own sake.

I'm going on the assumption that it's true and a real bench not a fake. I can find out I'm wrong later and feel silly, but I'm having more fun assuming the possibility. :)

I wonder if it's running on an Opteron, sorry, an x86-64 cpu? That would be pretty groovy.

You can't tell, because conviantly the CPU scores were not taken. LOL! I can't believe this was posted on the front page news! :D There is one thing about speculating and stuff, but to post something like this is just plain wrong and could lead to people getting the wrong idea.
