Can any of you guys recommend a motherboard for todays technology, but without sli? i don't want to pay for sli technology and hopefully no Asus or Abit as from the current reviews on this website.

I need it for a Dual Core processor and a Geforce 8 Series GFX Card (8600)

Please can you guys recommend any motherboards that are good, thanks.

Well in the $120-$140 range, I would recommend the MSI P35 Neo-2 F/R. Yes I know there are better MB's for more $$$$. But I paid $115 for mine (it was on sale at a local PC Club store) and it's a great board.

OC'd my Q6600 to 3.0GHz without any voltage increase (just up'd the FSB to 333 from 266). I can easily get 3.29GHz with a slight bump to v1.325. Any higher I would need a better case for air cooling.

Plus it's a cool black PCB with an even cooler copper HS with heatpipes that covers the voltage thingy's, NB and SB.
