IO-APIC/IRQ rerouting support for Linux??

Hi there,

Is there anything that prevents decent Linux support for IRQ rerouting/IO-APIC for IRQs >15??

If so, could somebody please explain the reasons?
If not what's still needed for it?

afaik for the VIA KT400 there is some sort of fix in the latest pre kernels... but also an unstability for the IDE stuff ;)

at least thats what a friend experienced

Well, if the nForce doesn't do it, I'll rather be looking at the KT333A, still appears to be faster/better than the KT400A :(
