I went to buy a card for my friends birthday yesterday feeling sorry for him. He was always playing UT2003 with a gf2. Well I couldn't find a good cheap card for him so I bit the bullet and I am now in the fast lane with a 9500 pro. By the way I gave him my 4200 instead.
I switched out the cards, installed the drivers with out uninstallling the nvidia ones and everything works great. I am blowin away by the FSAA+AA speeds. It is just  ....WOW.
I haven't flash the bios yet to overclock it which brings me to a question. Where can I buy a big ass vga cooler. My card has 3ns ram so I should be able to get one hella high OC. :)

If you want something that cools the hell out of your card but DON"T want to pull off the HS then check this out. It's what I run.

OMG, i am going to buy that!!!!!!!!!
Do you think it will work well with a Zalman heatpipe cooler?
BTW, do i need to cut a hole in my case for the fans?
GS, if you have a heatpipe, make sure you only cool the backside heatsink and not the GPU/component side heatsink, or you could overheat the video card.

The heat pipe isn't good enough. I need something that will cool a pelter or a good water block mod that will fit the 950pro. I have been out of the scene for a while and need to find a good place to shop.
Are there any extreme shops out there yet for video cards or should I improvise?

I used to have mine sucking cool air through a hole in the case directly above the cardcooler, now with my server case airflow is good enough.
But you might want to have a cool air hole ;)

"do you think this would work with a zalman heatpipe cooler?"
It should if you have a BIG hole directly above the cooler to bring in fresh cool air and blow it over the zalman, BUT you will need some good ventilation sucking air out the top and (upper back end) of your case.
