On www.inno3d.com they have a driver package for the nforce 680i and some sound drivers for it, realtek hd drivers, i never installed these but my sound does work fine it just says High definition audio device on the icon in vista in corner.

I was woundering do i still need these drivers and what would i benefit from them, like better in-game sound, better control over sound via a panel etc?

Anyone ever seen these or use these?

Thx,
Matt

you are running build in drivers from the OS, I would say those are at least few months if not close to a year old. I would update to the latest driver

Where can i find the latest sound drivers, the inno3d website isnt that up to date as there nforce drivers are old i always use nvidia website but can't find the sound drivers on the nvidia website.

I found on inno3d website they link to drivers for "realtek hd audio" which is "Realtek ALC880"

I did google that and found on the 2nd page it had a link to realtek HD audio drivers, as the ones on inno3d website are dated 2006, the ones on the realtek site are dated 2008.

What should i do, are these the ones i need?
