RedHat9 and Nvidia Drivers

i ve an athlon,when i run NVchooser it says to install NVIDIA-kernel.1.0-4190.src.rpm,

i typed
"rpmbuild --rebuild NVIDIA-kern........src.rpm"

but i didnt work,

gived an error.

how can i handle this?

Don't use NVchooser.

Get the 4363 .run file and execute that. Instructions are in the README on the 4363 page. And in the future, when something gives an error, just saying "it gives an error" is zero help. We need to know what the error was.

Are you using the .run version? Or are you still trying to get the RPMs to work?

I think you're trying to use the AMD64 drivers - they're not intended for your Athlon chips. Grab the latest driver from http://www.nvidia.com/view.asp?IO=linux_display_ia32_1.0-4363
