Porsche, it seems to be a classier car...not to mention it has a better maintenance record.

Ever looked inside a Porsche?
There is a reason that Porsche has the highest profit margins per unit in the industry. For 110,000 dollars, the interior should look better then it does. I've never sat in a 911 that felt as good inside as a 550 Maranello.
Maintenence records don't tell the story. The reason many Ferrari's have major problems is because the aren't driven. They sit in garages and look pretty. When the owner finally does go out for a spin, the motor has sat so long that the oil has completely ran down into the pan. I don't care how good of an oiling system a car has, when you dry start a car you do damage.
The bushings in the suspensions is another trouble spot. These cars sit, and the material (I'm not sure what they use, but they need to change it) rots out and looses its ability to comform when the suspension works.
Ask any Ferrari mechanic and he will tell you the best way to treat your Ferrari is to drive the piss out of it. My dad has an 88 328GTS, and when he bought it, had to spend 8k dollars putting the suspension back together. He's put double the miles on it the previous owner did, and the bushings look like they did the day it was fixed.
I don't know how a 996 911 Turbo looks "classier" then a 550 Maranello or a 456M, but I guess it's possible

I guess what I meant by classier is that, to me at least, Porsches look more sophisticated. Don't get me wrong, Ferraris look awesome, I just think the Porsche is more elegant while the Ferrari just screams racer car.

They both scream "I need to get a real car, Like an old camero or charger"

There's nothing imaginary about a Ferrari. It's real. Besides, some of us like cars that sing instead of wail and brake marginally better than a 16 wheeler.
BTW, It's CamAro. Camaro.
I would choose Ferrari. The only porpose of having this car is to get the attention of hot chicks. Ferrari is more famouse anyway, and chicks recognize it better. ;)

Pure sex.
Simple and elegant lines in a classic front engine, rear drive V12 layout.
It doesn't get much better then that.

Ferrari Modena 360 for sure...that thing's worth $250k, more than any porsche. I'd just take that, sell it, and keep the money.

What they don't tell you is that almost nothing in that car is built by Mercedes-Benz. The chassis and body is being built by McLaren and the engine is being built by Ilmor. Formula 1 fans will quickly recognize the name McLaren, and the truely astute will know the name Ilmor. They build the Mercedes-Benz V10's that go into the McLaren F1 cars.
And omghi2u, that 360 must be gold plated, because I have yet to see a Modena command that kind of price. Even the Scaglietti cars don't go for that. I could get you a 360 F1 for no more then 125K new.

Right. And Micheal Schumacer must also be a talentless hack, right?

Actually you have to have SOME skill to drive a ferrari. Those guys who had to drive it onto the stage in a car show had to be specifically trained for it so they won't make $5,000 dents on the car.

If you try to get it on ebay, the sales go over that price sometimes.
On the real side, I know for a fact that cars DO exceed 200k. Some Bentleys go for as much as 300K, Lambhorgini Murcielago go for about 280K, and the Aston Martin Vanquish goes for about 240K.

I know there are many cars out there that go for more then 250K dollars. The Veyron 16/4 is slightly more then 1 million dollars.
Scaglietti is a division of Ferrari that builds custom coachwork to an owners spec. The Scaglietti version of the 360 Modena doesn't go for more then 200K dollars. Like I said, you can get a BRAND NEW, 2003 Ferrari 360 Modena F1 for 130K dollars. And if you know someone charging 250k, they definatly do not belong to the Ferrari dealer network. Ferrari is militant about its pricing. There is no reason a 360 Modena should sell for 250K dollars. Heck, a 550 Maranello won't run you that much.

Ya that is true but the funny thing is that I love it no matter who makes it....well maybe if AMC made it :scarey:

Of course Ferrari!!
Porsche are almost "everyday" cars. Ferraris are absolutely exclusive
If you like Porsche best, let them give you a Ferrari, sell it, and buy 3 Porsches. :D
BTW, Porsches look all extremelly similar.... like BMWs...
Ferraris ARE different! And also prettier.... and faster! :D
