If anyone else is having trouble, don't give up. This one I have tried...oh about 20 times. Easy to do since it downloads in 1 second. On the 21st try (the third after the last message), it finally worked.

I'll look into the issues guys - quite hard to troubleshoot. Server is currently serving 30 megs a second apparently.

174, just like 171 seem to have issues with Call of Juarez DX10. Is weird, first time i started the game, it froze in main menu, second time it just showed black screen and it stopped responding. third time i was able to play for about 40 minutes. :|

never had these issues in 169.61 or older drivers.

171 series was worse, with 171 driver i was able to play for 5-10 minutes and crash.

hope this gets fixed by the time one of these 17x drives gets released officially.

Would it be possible to force a centered output on a 720P HDTV with these drivers? With previous drivers everytime I selected "do not scale" in the nVidia control panel it would revert back to the default display settings.

If people could let me know if that link cuts out it would be appreciated.

Hmm...I got an error while trying to install these drivers, something about a file missing?

So where is this dynamic contrast option? Was it removed from this driver? I can't find an option for it anywhere.

No issues with these drivers yet. TDU and BF2 ran fine. Did not check frame rate but no problems. The program list in the CP for installed programs on my computer works now. Did not work with the 171.xx set.

Just ran Crysis and although no problems, I did not get much of a FPS jump. I seem to remember some Crysis numbers with these drivers and it was a pretty impressive increase. I sure did not get that if any.

Well, since I just tested World of Warcraft - I can say those drivers do have FPS gain even in this one (now it's about same FPS as in XP) - although CPU load is a bit higher still.
Also, what I did notice is some odd 'choppiness'. It just ain't as smooth playing as it was with 169.28 (even though 174 has higher FPS).

Hi! I have a friend who just purchased an 8800GT with a P4 3.0GHz. What driver's should he use for best performance in WoW? These?

Under XP I use 169.28 (quite better than 169.25).
Under Vista, 174.12 is somewhat faster than 169.28, but under 169.28 even a bit slower, seems more smooth.
Might be due to something else in my case though (smoothness-wise).
