Very nice price/performance ratio! :)
How can AMD afford to drop prices all the time ?
Either way this is quite the temptation :p
2x HD3870 ftww :D
Makes sense with nvidia's new flagship arriving soon, and the R700 on the horizon, price drops!!!
They have to so they can keep pace, Nvidia is supposedly dropping the 8800GT price $20 here sometime soon.

Interesting makes me think the same, one HD3870x2 ;)
ati wants to compete the 3870 against the 9600 gt is my guess thats all.
Very nice, this makes 3870 Crossfire more interesting (or a single 3870x2, whichever is more cost efficient :D )

3 3870 for tri-fire scores very well in games and would be the best performances/price at 500~

Why would you do that when you could spend a little more dough on 3x 3870X2's? :D
2x 3870's = 400ish. 1x 3870X2 = 400ish. You COULD buy 1 X2 and 1 single if you want triple though. Imagine that.... hexfire :headexplode:

Oh, there's the minor detail of 3x 3870x2 not being supported on any mainboard known to man (wack)
But who knows, perhaps we'll get six-gpu-support next year :captnkill:
