View Full Version : 8800 gt with 1gb ?!

I known it out for awhile but I noticed it just now. Currently I have gts320 so I guess the 1gb or 512mb gt are much better.

The strange fact is that 1gt and 512gt are priced about the same here in Poland! (cheaper than gts320 and 640)
But the problem is that cheapest of those are with zalman or some other coolers.
Like galaxy or gigabyte versions.

How are those ? Noise ? Temps ? Are those "zalman" have the same speed as standard ???!!! Normally I wouldny ask but those are much cheaper and I am thinking about getting one
yep there is alot of benches but those are more confusing than satysfaing :headexplode:
Btw I am gaming mostly on 1280x800.

This whole exchanging might never happen becouse ...damn I cant find anyone who would want to buy 320gts !!!

The Zalman is better then stock cooling, larger fan lower noise however it takes 2 slots rather then 1.

The Zalman GPU coolers are great. I've used them on my 6800GT, 7800GT and 7900GTs. If they are priced the same go for the 1gb, however you will see little difference in the performance compared to the 512 version. Even in games like Crysis. ::(:

the 1gb pulls ahead at higher than 1600x1200 I think

How much is a cheap flight to poland? Do you have any links to polish sites?

At least with the 1gb you would still have 1gb in sli
