Hello
A few weeks some weird things started happening with my GF 7900GS (Galaxy 256 MB)
First I got video corruption like this:

Ugly green bar and the bottom and one of the component colors gets "displaced"

Recently I also started getting texture corruption while playing games.
Textures and displaced, stretched, flashing etc.
Its hard to describe so I captured two mini-movies showing what is happening
m1 (http://home.autocom.pl/wierzbicki/gf/c1.wmv) m2 (http://home.autocom.pl/wierzbicki/gf/c3.wmv)
These are a 'mild' examples
sometimes things can go extreeme (http://home.autocom.pl/wierzbicki/gf/c9.jpg)

Similar things are happening in all types of games, be it directx or opengl as well in 3d cad software
Alt-tabing to windows and then back into the game seems to temporary 'fix' it, I can play for a few mins and then it starts again.

MY questions is: Is my card dying ?
Could this be something different than psychical card damage ?

Spec:
Windows XP SP2, various 163.x and 169.x drivers
Asus P5B deluxe bios 0910, C2D 3.15 GHz (7x450), 2GB RAM

I had that with previous card Geforce 7800GTX, it caused overheating.

Forgot to add
I do not overclock my card
It's clocked 540/750 by default, zalman cooler
I tried downclocking to as low as 400/500 and problem didn't stop

had a Xfx 7950gt agp died after just 10 minutes use, It started to artifact like hell, and it never went away.. got it replaced, and same story yet again, 10 minutes workign then artifacts that never went away (still corupt after cold reboots)

Brand spanking new card too ... man I was depressed, so much I went out and bought a 360.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that nothing pointed to overheating and I had not messed with OC, just bad out of the box

Well Galaxy overclocked the card to 540/1500 as standard than Nvidia reference clock 450/1300.

The Galaxy Geforce 7900GS has 2 years warranty, you will need to RMA the card for replacement.
