P5B Deluxe BIOS 1226
1. Fix CPU ratio will not reset after load BIOS default
2. Enable support for N/2 Ratio option
What is the N/2 ratio? I know it has to do with the CPU but what is it for?

adds a .5 option to a CPU multiplier.

anything past 1221 sucks for overclocking for me.

Cant remember the revision number and too lazy to look.

I got a 20mm x 40mm Akasa Blue fan from ebay, Is nice.

Tuniq Tower has lots of clearance so you should be able to peel off the decorative sticker without too much hassle?

you mean just take off the cover of the northbridge heatsink, the part that says asus and put a fan on it? good idea.

For higher FSB on the NB above 450 its a good idea to peal the dumb foil wrapper off and put a 40mm fan on top.

it says rev 1.xx and C1... it might require a newer BIOS for it to detect the revision correctly

Can you run 2 video cards at the same time on this motherboard? I just ordered a GTX 295 and was thinking of keeping my GTX 280 for physx :D Anyone done this or something similar?

You can't run SLi... but yes, you can run the 2nd video card in the PCI-E 4X slot as a physics card I do believe :)

ASUS P5B Deluxe FTW those boards are beast.

a 280 for physx is overkill, In a x4 slot its wasted...So it a bit of both for the reasons you shouldn't do that.

The only good reason would be 3 screens.

I still can't find a reason to replace my system ATM! :) By far the best system I have built and has by far lasted the longest... minus the video card upgrade :D

PCI-E 3.0 / SATA 6 Gbit/s on a motherboard with a decent price would make me want to upgrade, I would want it to last me like this one is doing.

Buying a SATA 3 Gbit/s SSD seems a waste to me.
