Ok, I've had enough of this. These cards are barely 6 hours old and I'm already getting driver errors. It all started when I played CoD4, I would play for a while, then I'd sputter, minimize, then the game would come back up and I'd get that stupid "!" in the tool bar. I got it when I ran 3DMark06 once, too. I got the newest 174.16 drivers because I thought it would fix it, but now when my PC detects SLi, I enable it, and the screen flickers forever until I BSOD. I reinstalled vista and installed the 174.16 driver instead of the one on the CD and now I get it whenever I try to do the WEI score update and whenever I change settings in the nv control panel.. I switched the cards so the bottom one is on top and vice versa, but still no prevail... Wtf is going on?

I get that on crysis, only so often though, its the warning logo in the corner isn't it?

Want to know what it is?

Your video card drivers are CRASHING in vista, go to problem and solutions center, it advises you to update your drivers, seen as your at latest theres nothing you can do except wait.

But never got it in COD4, BIOSHOCK ETC..

You just have to put up with it, i get it, annoying yes but im waiting for an update from nvidia for ages now.

I use 8800 GTS 512MB but my screen actually goes blank... and sometimes have to CRASH THE PC!

Weird. My GPU does that when it is OC'd too high. Have you tried lowering the clocks?

i got a great idea for you, you buy a cheaper cpu ( because this 1000$ cpu is totaly useless) and you buy some real video card like 2 8800 gts 512 instead of these crappy 9600 gt

You think it's crappy because all those reviews that you read convinced you that it's not worth it, while in the eyes of the consumer, the one who owns a 9600GT can say otherwise. And besides, if it's not a "real" video card, what else would it be, fake? Hologram?

dont listen to him, he is a troll who is looking for a fight. Its his first post, so he is propably 12 years old and gets all his hardware from his rich father.

Thats great, I can really know the feeling of having something knew not work right. Just have to keep working and asking questions tell you get it right. Now you wouldn't make that mistake again, our you will remeber to check it out. Experience'. Lets us know how the new rig compares to your rig know?, I bet you will be happy'.:D
