These drivers are very good. The best COD4 drivers to date....its much better than the 174.12 ,13 and 16's.
DV is broken and they removed some of the video tweaks that were there for the 9600GT launch.
Apart from that its a great set for gaming.
still looking for good drivers for Company of heroes......since 163.75
8800gtx.
Only thing I noticed with the 170.20 drivers in vista ultimate with sp1 was the fact that I could not enable/disable SLI. It always told me my computer needed to restart, and when I did, it would stay the same setting. I had to downgrade back to the 169.25 drivers in order to have working SLI again :(

I've been having that issue with all 170 series drivers. How can a driver be whql and sli not work?

Hmm, remind me not to update my drivers. I'm using the 169.25's here lol. I had to look cause I wasn't sure if I had updated them.
WHQL has nothing in common with SLI, gamebugs or nonworking DV etc. MS runs a series of tests to ensure that the install routine is according to MS specs and they also test the driver for DirectX errors. Most tests check so that the driver does not crash while you work in windows desktop, eg in Word, Excel, IE etc..
As fas I know, no games at all are tested in these tests. They run some "tools" only that they have made over at MS. These tools checks these things.

You got a link to the Vista 64bit version of these drivers?
No issues here, driver appears to work fine. Also nothing special, no noticable speed ups or slow downs. 8800GT.
