So what do you people thing about Stargate Worlds MMO so far?

This might be the only MMO that i'm interested in, home Fileplanet gets a beta.

they canceled Stargate Alliance

Stargate Worlds is MMO made by different company.

Alliance is still under quiet development. JoWood lost the battle and the developer still has the rights to most of the game content. Still, don't expect much from the game if it does actually come out.

I read that they're intending to have closed beta start in Summer, and open beta in Autumn with release around the same time.

That closed beta is just too short. Way too short. If they stick to that, this will bomb spectacularly.

that wouldn't suprise me, Alliance SLI profile is still in nvidia drivers, and recently with one of the 169 driver releases, SLI compability bit has been updated.

I've been following this game since it was announced. I only check on it a few times a month though...I will likely give it a shot.

Also, the person who said it got cancelled could have been thinking about STO (Star Trek Online). It recently got the axe...

I am interested...but at the sametime...i am not sure how this will actually work out -.-. As in for a MMO...i can understand a FPS though..
