Very impressive, though a little late.

These are awesome coolers for the price. Picked up an S1 few months back. Put a CPU cooler on that sucker and lowered my temps a good 20c+. :D
Very nice. Anyone know when it's to hit "shelves"?

No, not this model. It is G80-only. Hopefully, a G92 version should release soon.

3 fans...deafeantly should help with the load temps..but its a bit too late..though i hope for gf9 they could make them for that series too

Want!
I installed one a couple of weeks ago on my 8800Ultra and I can say that I've never had such a huge decrease in temps. from a third party cooler.
Temps have dropped an average of 11C @ idle and an average of 20C under load, currently idling at 45C.
Also, the Accelero Xtreme is much quieter then the stock cooler at the same fan speed which I usually run at 78%, be warned though this thing is bloody huge, when I first opened the box I thought to myself surely that can't be just for a video card!
My one and only gripe about this cooler..........compared to the stock cooler this thing is damn fugly, it certainly won't win any beauty awards.
This is highly recomended for all 8800 owners, it's a pity it took 18 months for it to be released.

How about overclocking results?

Where can you get it? I can't find it anywhere.

Stock or overclocked doesn't matter, you'll get the same temp drops compared to the stock cooler.
Wonder how this compares to the S1?
My S1 dropped my 8800GT temps from 60c idle -> 40c idle and 90c load -> 53c load :)
Good results :D
With the 9800gtx being a dud and the extended life the 8800gtx gets from it, there's still plenty of potential customers I'd say.

Dud?! It's not even available. :retard:

According to the currently avaiable data (by expreview), it's just a mildly OCed 8800gts 512 - an obvious dud for me :thumbdwn:

Indeed, especially considering the listed specs are lower than current 8800GTX/Ultra, very disappointing not just from Nvidia but ATI/AMD also, neither has a card worth upgrading to.

I definitely want this cooler for my 8800 GTX! Any word on availability in the U.S.?

Same here. I think I'll stick with the 8800 GTX a while longer.

nice but 3 fans might be too loud... im happy with my HR03 plus... 56*C idle and 73*C load overclocked... stock HSF was 76*C idle and 99*C load which is unacceptable
The fans are fluid dynamic bearing models, so they're not loud at all.

It's quieter than the stock cooler, I can't hear them at all.

How is your overclocking ability with this cooler? I have my gtx at 621/1600/2000 right now and was wondering if this was worth a purchase.

I don't run my card overclocked but since this cooler has lowered load temp by well over 20C then it's a given that it will help your overclocking.
