View Full Version : 65% Framerate Increase for Crysis?
PCGH is claiming to be getting a 65% framerate increase for Crysis with the Forceware 174 drivers and the 9600 GT series which also helps the Geforce 8 series in Vista with a series of tweaks. I think they use generic benchmarks rather than real-world ones, but it's still a nice little boost.

I'll believe it when I see it:D

In most 170 series drivers sli is broken though.
Marketing trick :headexplode:
lol 74%. the only way that would be true is if previous drivers for the 9600 had a performance killing bug that was now fixed. i can state for a fact theres no 74% improvement for 8 series cards.

They had to have been using pre-release drivers because the first official driver is 174.16. So I could see that if their was a bug with the 9600GT and crysis, but I doubt the 8800GTX will see much of a difference.
