inq, ok nothing to see here, move on.
600/1500/2000MHz
core/shader/memory(effective)
Core seems awfully low, Shader is rather low too, Memory is standard.
If this was true, extremely disappointing.
But as been said, take the info from the Inq with a grain of salt.

2007 and 2008 are looking to be the most boring years in PC hardware history...
There is no competition or anything interesting happening in any market.

Amazing how last year seemed to be one of the best (for nvidia users), and this year seems to be going nowhere. :(

Yeah, no compelling reason yet to change my aging 8800GTX.
C'mon NVIDIA, I have $500 burning a hole in my pocket, waiting to be spent on a new high end card.... Still I'm not going to spend it unless its considerably better than my existing card from November 2006!!!
Personally, unless Intel get a SLI license for their chipsets, I'd never consider it.

i blame this on the lack of compitition and the very high costs of R&D. just the later alone is going to slow things down.

I agree.
This Intel platform has been so much more stable and generally less hassle than my nforce 4 and nforce 3 systems.
Still... even if I could use SLI, I haven't really played any games that'd be worth upgrading for, let alone buying a second card.

There is plenty of competition . . .and plenty happening in the market.
Kingston shows off nForce 790i memory overclocking - almost too easy
