You could always... you know... buy a legal copy of Vista.

Or you can buy product key through Microsoft's link online when it asked you to activation.

If you buy a full version you should be able to enter the code and get everything back.

If you're able to access the web....(lee)

Hope Premium is like $100.00 anyways. If you can't shell that out, you can get a free copy of Ubuntu off of Arctic's (I think it's him) sig.

Why not just download it? Why wait for it to get to you in the mail?

Because with my slow ass internet, it would take longer to download than to wait for it to come in the mail.

LOL. Understandable, my internet is slow as well, however, I just click download before I go to bed and let it go overnight. In the morning, I am set to burn the ISO.

The ISO is about 550mb. I have that same speed and it doesn't take me long at all... We are talking the linux unbuntu ISO, right?

You'll still get it faster. I did that before and it took a good month before I got the discs. Also, it might not be the newest version either depending upon when they released it.

Yes ma'am, the same one. But I went to the site and the whole thing was like 4 ISO's. Maybe I was looking at the wrong one.

Hmm, well that might have been one version but it wasn't the one I was referring to. Here, start off with Ubuntu 7.10

Is it even worth using? I could just go to Barns and Nobel and look through the Linux for Dummies or any Linux book and just take a copy of Suse, Redhat, Ubuntu, but I might get in trouble. "But it says 'free' on the cover!"

That's called stealing.

Just download it! It's only ~550 MB. That'll take you like 4 hours on your connection. No big deal.

And at the OP, BUY A LICENSE!
