This seems to have stopped my "Nvlddmkm Stopped Responding" while playing World of Warcraft (only game I'm playing atm)... Vista 64 with 7950GX2 in multi-gpu mode.

I have to retract this statement... after about a day or so of no occurrences, it is back with a vengeance.

174.31 r much better running FFOW. 35fps with 169.44 and 60fps with 174.31. Must be a SLI issue with the 169.44.

Yes, because your experience is going to be the EXACT same experience EVERYONE else is going to have.

Vista has been stable for me since RTM. I've had very little complaints about Vista, minus a few minor bugs that have been ironed out with SP1. Sucks that your computer is a pile and can't run Vista properly.

No, man. I didn't have a so bad setup at the time. It was an Athlon 64 3200+, ASUS K8V-X SE, 1GB RAm and a Radeon 9600XT. Except for the graphics card, everything was OK. But I wasn't using Aero, soo, I think it's not GPU's fault.

Now I have a Pentium Dual Core E2140@2.66GHz Prime Stable, OCCT Stable, ASUS P5K Premium WiFi/AP, 2GB RAM OCZ Platinum revision 2, a 250GB HD, a 8600GT.
Had no problems at all, but it gave me 2 BSODs. One of them in the startup, without explanation. Had to use System Restore in order to get in Windows. The other when I closed Guitar Hero III.

With XP, the only BSOD I had was in a **** Pentium III. Would give me BSOD every time. Have to use Win98. XP never game me BSOD in the A64 3200+ nor in this PC.

Well, honestly, I'm only using Vista for DX10. It's usually faster (except for crysis) than DX9 and more smooth (I don't know why, but DX10 games seems to be faster than DX9 games, even with lower FPS). Unfortunately, it comes with horrible sound support for older games. If I had a X-Fi... but I haven't, so older games that used Direct3D have horrible sound effects.

Vista is "so good" that one of the most successful business is "take Vista away and Install XP". Since Dell and other makers started to put Vista on new computers, I have formatted twice usual number of PCs. Thanks to "Positivo", that's using Linux, this number increased a bit too.

Now, comparing to the old Win 98, Vista is veeeery Stable.
Comparing to Win ME, Vista the the god of the stability.
(The first time I tried Win ME, it gave me a BSOD on the first boot! That was hilarious.)

With these drivers I'm getting the errors all over. ::(: Even opening windows.

The Sims 2 is the only game that runs fine with these. Back to .28 for me...

Pretty stable driver for me, I went back to XP after Vista ate itself post Windows Update (I'm quite serious, the update actually destroyed a vital windows boot exe). Rather then dealing with restoration I decided to see how my system was under XP. It also gave me a chance to install my new PSU (Silverstone DA-1200) and my TRUE. Dropped my Q6600 temps down about 14C, now load never goes above 58C that's Prime95 (small FFT) stable after 12hrs. :)

Anyway, while I never provided benchmarks in the past, here's my latest 3DMark06 with the CPU @ 3.3Ghz, 475FSB, memory @ 1:1. GPU is running 800Mhz Core / 2000Mhz Shader / 1000Mhz Memory. Default 3DMark06 settings/tests.

XP still ownz Vista. I went back to it after about a month with SP1. Games are so much smoother, sorry Vista but you still suck for gaming performance.

So these drivers seem to work good for me in Crysis, problem is, I can't run in DX10, only DX9. Is there a known issue that the drivers are causing this? Or is this another issue I have?

^^ You don't have a DX10 card, according to your sig.
