Acording to the guys over at fud, BFG has announced at CEBIT that they will begin to offer a 100 day step-up program, which is 10 days more than the popular EVGA program.

We had a chance to meet with BFG and these guys obviously plans to bring the Geforce 9800 GX2. The clock speeds are not officially confirmed by BFG but everyone will launch at 600MHz reference clock.

At later date there will be an overclocked version but the company was not ready to reveal any details. As the company has been doing this for quite some time, we are sure that they will come up with some good clocks.

At the same time the company wants to bring the update program and to offer 100 days step up program. That is a full 10 days better than somebody else’s 90 day step up plan. Obviously the program worked for the others.

We are sure that BFG will be one of the usual few to overclock the card.

I was already going to buy a BFG nexttime, due to EVGA's lack-luster "step-up" program this time around (few years ago it worked great).

Now this is just heaping amounts of gravy. :D

Too bad like every other program like this it probably won't apply in my region.:(

But is it any use?
I heard much about the EVGA stepup. Bought a EVGA GTS 640 when they were new. When i checked out the GTX stepup price i thought they are kidding first. They use the nvidia suggested price (wich is allways way high compared to what the cards cost on market) wich made the stepup over 100€ more expensive then simply selling the GTS and buying a GTX.
Maybe it's like this in europe but from my experience it's a worthless service hey simply use as marketing gag.

I am planning to use my evga step up this time to get a gx2, but I really want to try out a new graphics card maker, and bfg is on the top of my list now, looking forward to buying one of their cards.
