I'm sure some of you have already seen it. But I want to warn you guys that the drivers used in this review simply enabled the card. And have recieved zero testing. They werent designed for use with the card in question and problems setting Multi GPU configuration amongst other things. They were made in very early january and are completely out dated. Multi GPU isnt even enabled for Vista as the drivers dont offer that functionality.

Take this information as is and consider it when your look at this article.

Before I found about the whole old driver thing, I was quite dissappointed, but I am quite optimistic now... I am either going to step up to this, or buy another 8800gts 512mb. Hopefully one of these will out perform two gts(g92) or atleast the gt in sli.

I don't understand why no one uses 174.51, it's the GX2 driver ffs...

even with driver support, i doubt the performance gain will be off the roof to justify $600

I agree. This card should be competing price wise with the x2 give or take an extra $50 for the 9800 card.

honestly i beg to differe the gains had by 'sli' with the 9600 gt's is very very substantial. So one would only gather the same can be said for the 9800gx2.

Not very impressive, but, lets wait for the final tests.
