I've used it before. It's a good program. When you run the 3 minute benchmark, you get a score and you can compare it to other scores with that card online.

I'd say it's pretty reliable. My card at 648MHz core could play crysis all day long but would randomly freeze in 3Dmark06 from time to time. This test failed within a matter of seconds.
